PARENTING GRANDCHILDREN MAKING HEALTHY
In the morning when I was cycling I stopped in Ngumbul village, Turi, Sleman, seeing an old man carrying a baby, his granddaughter. - I was reminded of a new study which found that grandparents who cared for their grandchildren tended to live longer than parents who did not care for others. - The findings of the researchers were written in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior. - According to Sonja Hilbrand, doctoral student of the Department of Psychology at the University of Basel, Switzerland, who led this study, totally not interacting with grandchildren could have a negative impact.
