TYNDALL EFFECTS

TYNDALL EFFECTS

When cycling in the morning, I find sunlight mixed with the fog clearly visible through the trees. - Actually what happened, so we can see the light beam? I am very curious! - I found the answer. Apparently, the sunlight entering through the trees, then the light is scattered by mist particles which are the Colloidal System. - The term colloid comes from Greek (kolla = glue, oidos = like) which means like glue, which was first proposed by Thomas Graham (1805-1869). - The event of scattering of light by colloidal particles in this photo is referred to as the Tyndall effect, because this phenomenon was first explained by John Tyndall, a physics scientist from Ireland. - For me this is a pleasant natural dance.
